Power connection is made via one wire. Either mounting screw serves as the ground connection, so the mounting surface needs to be grounded or an auxiliary ground wire must be installed on the back side of the mounting surface and connected to the chassis ground of the vehicle, which then serves as a ground connection that the mounting screw will connect to.
