Led lighting can be used in a variety of applications, some of which are described below.

A versatile use of LED lighting is cargo trailers, such as this Wells Cargo enclosed trailer pictured at right.

Cargo trailers, whether enclosed or open, are subjected to a lot of road shock and vibration, particularly when empty, because of their stiff suspension.

Later model Wells Cargo trailers (those built from the late '90s until about 2001) use the Model 60 oval lamp in an incandescent version, so they can easily be converted to our Model 60 style LED lamps.

Earlier Wells Cargo trailers use the two bulb Model 84 incandescent fixture show on the trailer pictured and can be upgraded to LED with our 1157 LED replacement

Many models of Haulmark and Pace American trailers use the oval Model 60 style lamp, so they too can be easily converted to LED.

Interstate cargo trailers use the Model 84 fixture shown on the Wells Cargo trailer above and can be converted with our 1157 LED replacement as well

See our tips page for more information on converting to LED.

Our lights can be adapted for use on a variety of 4x4 and off road 4 wheel drive vehicles for the ultimate in reliable lighting. LED lamps are not susceptible to road shock and vibration like incandescent lamps are.

LED lamps are sealed. A sealed lamp prevents moisture induced corrosion.

Many state and local highway departments are converting their snowplows and other winter road clearing equipment to LED lights because of the increased reliability of LED lighting.

The owner of this 1996 Chevrolet K1500 made a custom aluminum bracket that is mounted to the front license plate mount. Mounted on the bracket are 3 amber M20350Y lamps. They are wired to the daytime running lamp circuit via a relay, so they are always on.

LED lamps are an excellent choice when adding auxiliary lighting to your vehicle, they make your rig stand out from the "rest of the crowd."

This photo shows a 14 LED Amber rectangular model (M23015Y) installed as a side marker lamp on an RV. These lamps are very well suited to side marker application due to their design. In addition, these lamps are sealed, so you will never have the problem of moisture or dust in the lamp lens. Failure of incandescent lamps due to corrosion is common for many RV style marker lamps, most of which have a removable lens. More details of this installation can be seen here.
